THE STILL POINT

A space to think more clearly about what matters.

One-to-one coaching for when you're feeling stuck, facing a decision, or simply want greater clarity about where you're heading.

WHEN MIGHT THIS BE USEFUL?

You don't need to know exactly what needs to change.

You might be facing a decision, feeling stuck, uncertain about what comes next, or simply have something you want the space to think through properly. You may want to:

  • gain clarity around a decision or situation

  • understand what's keeping you stuck

  • explore what you actually want

  • turn reflection into meaningful action

Sometimes the starting point is simply knowing that something doesn't feel quite right, without yet knowing what needs to change.

THE CONVERSATION

A chance to slow things down and look at them differently.

You bring whatever feels important to explore. There isn't a prescribed process or a right place to begin. We'll take the time to look at what's happening from different angles including assumptions, tensions or possibilities that can be difficult to notice when you're caught up in the situation itself.I'll listen carefully, ask questions and offer observations that may help you examine your thinking more deeply. The aim isn't necessarily to reach a quick answer. What emerges might be a decision, an action, a different perspective, or simply something worth continuing to think about.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I'm Lorand.

I'm an accredited coach with a strong interest in how we think, make sense of our circumstances, and decide what matters to us.My approach is grounded in curiosity, honesty and careful reflection. I value conversations where there is room to question assumptions, consider different perspectives and sit with uncertainty rather than rushing towards an answer.

A FEW COMMON QUESTIONS

Before we start.

What is coaching, and what it isn't?

Coaching is a collaborative process intended to support your own reflection, awareness and decision-making. It isn't about somebody else providing the answers, giving advice or making decisions on your behalf.
It is distinct from counselling and psychotherapy and isn't a substitute for mental health treatment. If another form of support appears more appropriate, I'll be open about that.

Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?

No. You may come with a specific question, decision or goal, but you don't need to. Uncertainty itself can be a perfectly reasonable place to begin.

Are our conversations confidential?

Yes. What you share is treated confidentially, subject to the professional and legal limits we'll discuss before beginning any work together.

What is the introductory conversation?

It's an opportunity for us to meet, talk about what has brought you here and consider whether working together might be useful.
There's no charge for the introductory conversation and no expectation that you continue afterwards.

THE STILL POINT

Perhaps we start with a conversation.

If you'd like to explore whether this could be useful for you, you're welcome to book an introductory conversation.
